The story takes place in the "waste layer" of the spiral of disaster. The protagonist Cen Fa is a low-level weapon refiner who accidentally gained the ability to "rewind time" while exploring ancient ruins. After his first death retrospective, he found himself involved in a thousand-year game between the "Destiny Weaver" and the "Incomplete Taoist" over the fate of the world. In the process of practicing a unique weapon with the "Taichu Chaos Cauldron" as his natal magic weapon, he got acquainted with a sloppy Taoist who upheld the "beauty of imperfection" and raised Taiyi to save suffering green cattle. He also encountered the pursuit of "perfect monks" who pursued absolute order and perfection. Cen Fa used the experience accumulated through countless deaths to climb up from the wasteland layer, establish a sustainable spiritual material circulation system in the purification layer, fight against the weavers who tried to solidify the fate of the class in the new layer, and finally broke into the original layer. He did not use force to prove the Tao, but used himself as a "vessel" to integrate the Secret Records of Taiyin Refining and Nirvana.
