Dating Show Slacker: The Heiress Is Chasing Me

Everyone else on a dating show: designer suits, sports cars, and talk of investments worth hundreds of millions, with gentlemanly charm turned up to the max.

Chi Yan on a dating show: a plain white Uniqlo T-shirt, hunting for shared bikes, stealing the female contestants' braised pork, then collapsing into bed as soon as he's full.

In an age when everyone is caught up in the rat race, people put on masks and polish their public image. Then broke loser Chi Yan unexpectedly awakens the Slacker System.

“Ding! Host has successfully spent an hour spacing out on a dating show. Reward: 100,000 yuan in cash!”

During the heart-fluttering text-message round, everyone else sends a five-hundred-word essay. Chi Yan sends a single “.”

The haters across the internet are furious: “Get this broke loser off the show!”

But as the program airs, the aloof award-winning actress cooks for him, and the domineering CEO fights with other women for his attention. Viewers suddenly see the light:

“He's not clueless about romance. He's just exposed how fake this world is! Chi, teach us how to slack off!”
