Transmigrate as a Wicked Old Woman Who Abandons Her Husband

Xi Meng transmigrates into Xi Meng, the wicked shrew from the surrounding villages who was beaten to death by her husband.

Knowing she has no revenge to seek, the shrew uses her modern knowledge to build a fortune. One day, Liu Sao, one of her workers, says she's hired a reliable and hardworking laborer. Xi Meng takes one look and realizes it's the very husband who killed the original owner. When he asks to get back together, Xi Meng can only think that fate is messing with her.

Chen Lei is known throughout the nearby villages as a good man. Out of kindness, he goes to the mass grave to collect the dead, but there he finds the “corpse” of his own younger sister, Chen Hong, who should have been at home.
