Five days before her older sister Gu Xiaohan was due to marry her fiancé, Nalan Teng, the two had a huge argument. Gu Xiaohan overheard everyone saying that Nalan Teng had a first love who looked exactly like her, and that was the only reason he was marrying her. Gu Xiaohan called off the wedding, causing Nalan Teng to drive drunk and crash his car, while she ran away. With no other choice, Gu Xiaohan's parents accepted an exorbitant bride price and had Gu Xiaotian take her place, marrying the injured Nalan Teng. Gu Xiaotian and Nalan Teng couldn't stand each other. Many hilarious mishaps followed.
