I Recreated the Glory of the Root Nine Empire in Another World

[One heroine + another world + transmigration + no System + tsundere empress + alternate history + fantasy adventure + alternate-world Western Europe]

A note before reading: readers with low-end setups can enjoy this story without using their brains. The minimum requirements are one eye or one ear. Nothing more is needed.

My name is Meilinks Lixiao. I was a Finnish university student majoring in history, and I died of an illness in my first year.

But when I woke up, I found that I had transmigrated to another world. This world seems to be a European hodgepodge: its administration is like Napoleon's, its architectural style like the Victorian era, its army like Germany's, and its ruler is an empress who lives in the Palace of Fontainebleau.

This country seems to be a low-magic world with its own history and rules. Before I transmigrated, I heard a voice telling me to stop Her Majesty from leading the country down the mustachioed dictator's path within a year, or else the empress would be killed.

But this country has plenty of other problems. The emperor's powers are too limited, and her authority seems to amount to little more than shouting. It feels like the throne has been sidelined.

I don't know how the emperor managed to pursue such aggressive militarism, but my mission requires me to stop Her Majesty from adopting Legalist ideas. It doesn't say I can't adopt them myself, though.

As a history major, this is right up my alley. If you won't rule by law, then I will. The lessons of the past are right there for the taking. I'll bear the consequences myself!
