The plot is okay, but you, the author, are so confused. You may be doing this or that, or the heroine catching a snake with her bare hands. Didn't you write out the highlights? I was confused when this thing suddenly appeared later, and so was the male protagonist. The connection was very confusing, and the foreshadowing was not well laid out before. It couldn't be connected in series. It really felt like it was going east and west, and the underlying logic was confusing.
