Read all the codes in the world, just to find one rule that will prevent me from being forgotten.
If you found yourself living in a "memo book", would you turn to the next page?
Lin Mo is an ordinary archives restorer, and his daily job is to repair old and damaged documents.
Until that day, he repaired a burnt "Factory Night Shift Security Code."
Article 3 of the code reads: "At twelve o'clock in the evening, you must patrol the second-floor underground warehouse alone. Be careful not to look back when you hear any sound."
There is a line of scrawled comments next to it——
"I turned back. It wasn't a sound."
That night, Lin Mo's cell phone memo opened automatically, and the first line appeared:
"From now on, don't read any more codes."
But it's too late.
He finished reading.
The lights go out. There were footsteps at the end of the corridor.
Boom. Boom. Boom.
It's coming.
