There is no heaven in this world, only an abyss.
He used an ironic spell to blow out the eyes of the man in black robes, picked up the human skin book and escaped from the dungeon. The book is called "Secret Records of the Abyss", and the first page reads: Nothing contained in this book can be read. Once you read it, you will enter my path. Those who enter my path will never look back.
Xu Luo glanced back. The castle squatted behind it, as if alive.
The day he walked into Greystone City, his right hand started to feel hot. The summoning method borrowed the power of the existence underground, at the cost of the flesh and blood on his right hand being eroded by tread patterns, with silvery gray creeping up from the fingertips. If he cannot find the purifying spring within three months, he will become a fragment host - a "finger" existing underground.
But he is not the only fragment host. The All Seeing Cult is collecting Abyss Seeds, the Nest is making containers, there are three Abyss Seeds embedded in the Bishop of Fragments, and the Abyss Council holds fragments of the "Abyss Code" in its hands. When the seven fragments are gathered together, the true name of the existence underground can be deciphered. With the true name in your hand, you can cut off its thread and never resurrect it.
Xu Luo didn't want to decipher the real name. He wanted to pull that being out of the ground and let it see what it meant to "prove the Tao through force."
Ren squatted beside the rubble, his left claw turning into a blade. The threads swallowed by the abyssal weapon before being digested, the runes on the blade squirm slightly. "Why is the council watching you?"
"I don't know." Vera hugged the slate, her white hair flying in the wind. "Mother didn't say anything."
Alma leaned against the stone. The sealing rune stone was hot at her waist, freezing the eyeliner on her chest. It won't be frozen for long.
Xu Luo retracted his right hand into his sleeve. The silvery gray color climbed to the outside of the corners of the eyes, and the tire marks branched on the cheekbones, like tree roots digging into new soil. The ancient insect talisman glowed in the palm of his hand and dimmed by two-thirds. There is only one remaining spell to summon the gods.
