Cleaner: I Sold Our Home to Save My Wife, but She Dumped Me, So I Turned Evil and Collected Bodies

An alternate, parallel near-future Republic of China setting, not based on real history.

A world where there is a single true god.

Warlords carve up the land, powerful families dominate, and undercurrents stir among the martial sects. Old mansions stand everywhere, pawnshops are plentiful, and gold, silver, and copper coins are still in use.

This is a brutal world where the iron will of traditional martial arts coexists with modern black technology:

Drones conduct surveillance, smartphones keep people connected, and surveillance earpieces provide security across entire areas.

Sniper rifles and heavy weapons, along with cutting-edge medicine, are everywhere, while martial arts masters and professional assassins face off in the shadows.

A desperate outlaw sunk into the abyss enters the deadly game of a chaotic age, carving a path through slaughter and seizing control of his own fate against all odds.
