Childhood sweethearts, reunited after years apart.
Wei Xiao and Meng Tang grew up together, but later Meng Tang left without a word, and Wei Xiao transferred to another school.
Meng Tang never imagined she would see Wei Xiao again.
On her first day after transferring, Meng Tang stood at the front of the classroom and saw someone familiar sitting below: her childhood friend. She was just about to greet him when he looked at her like a stranger.
Looking at the person at the front of the classroom, Wei Xiao said dismissively, “I don't know you!” and denied their relationship.
At school, they acted like strangers.
Later, when Meng Tang got hurt, Wei Xiao, usually so cold and distant, panicked for the first time.
One day after school, Wei Xiao walked Meng Tang home and asked her what she wanted for her birthday.
Meng Tang: “I hope Big Brother Xiao and I get into the same university.”
Later, their classmates noticed that Wei Xiao, who used to sleep through class, had started sitting quietly in the classroom, solving problems and reading.
Zhou Mingxuan: “Xiao, come on, let's play some games.”
Wei Xiao: “No, I'm studying.”
Everyone was amazed by Wei Xiao's change. Only Meng Tang knew why he was doing it.
Eventually, all of Wei Xiao's wishes became: “I hope Meng Tangtang lives to a ripe old age.”
