Detective Chauffeur: From the Start, Every Seat Is Taken by an Upright Official

I'm just an ordinary office worker, but I unexpectedly inherited an RV that can travel through time and space. Yet the very first time I started it, it was filled to the brim with “upright officials.” Lord Bao slammed his courtroom gavel and called the court to order, Di Renjie looked up Baidu on a tablet, and Song Ci studied the cause of death of the Dongpo pork in the fridge... The vehicle also came with a team of miracle doctors, a fox driver, and the fighting-mad Imperial Cat and Rat. From then on, my road trip became a cross-time-and-space crime-fighting adventure with an all-star team. In a zombie case in the Tang dynasty, Hua Tuo wanted to perform brain surgery. In a Song dynasty locked-room mystery, Bai Yutang disguised himself as a courtesan. Upgrading the vehicle also triggered bouts of collective memory loss: Hai Rui suddenly started singing in English, and Gongsun Ce's diary filled up with complaints about Lord Bao. We solved historical cold cases while dealing with the chaotic day-to-day life inside the RV. It wasn't until the Faceless Man appeared that we discovered the true destination of this journey: to mend the regrets shared by every righteous soul throughout history...
