The April Blossom Paranormal Society is recruiting now!…
Club president: Wang Xuan
Born with spirit vision, he can see the pores on ghosts' faces, but can never find the trendy bubble tea shop he set out to visit. When leading investigations of haunted houses, he relies entirely on instinct: "Just follow your gut" leads him straight into ghosts with a 100% success rate; finding a bubble tea shop, zero. His culinary masterpiece is "exorcism special ginger soup." Everyone who's tried it agrees: it's harder to deal with than a ghost.
Medium: Hu Xiaocui
An heir to the Northeastern fox spirit tradition, she claims to be the world's most beautiful nine-tailed fox. The problem is, her tails bleed color. Every time she casts a spell, she leaves a puddle of red water on the ground, claiming it "adds visual impact." Even worse is her passive skill: whenever she gets excited, she unleashes a three-meter-radius "fox odor aura." Little ghosts aren't afraid of her magic, only of her smiling and saying, "If you don't come out, I'm going to get mad. And I smell really bad!"
Taoist: Song Huailin
Skilled in talismans and swordsmanship, his one weakness is touchscreen phones. Years of sword practice have left calluses on his fingertips, so his fingerprint unlock fails nine times out of ten. In an emergency, he yells at his phone, "By the command of heaven, open up!" Severely socially anxious, he goes stiff when asking for directions and can only blurt out single words. His greatest achievement was comforting a thousand-year-old demon into thinking it was "a total weakling."
Fortune-teller: Mao Xiaohui
Her ability to commune with spirits is maxed out, but her anger switch is bizarre. Even when a malicious spirit scares her so badly her legs go weak, she still finds time to mock its outfit: "Did you die wearing the same thing as someone else?" Her backpack doesn't contain a crystal ball, but is stuffed with spicy strips, self-heating hot pot, and a screaming chicken toy. Her reasoning: "If ghosts trap us, I still want to die with a full stomach."
Registration is now open. Requirements: not afraid of ghosts. If you are, that's fine, because we're all scared.
The author is really a painstaking work!! Not bad, I like it!
