Eerie Descent: I Can Reload After I Die

[Eerie Descent] [Death Checkpoint] [Rule-Based Killings] [Outwit and Strike Back] [Decisive and Ruthless] Gu Linchuan only wanted to finish the project, sign the contract, and make sure the blame landed as far away from him as possible. But that night, he really did die. He died after an eerie descent. After that, he discovered that every time he died, he returned to the moment before his death. He would forget some things, and some things wouldn't come back with him. But he remembered the truly deadly rules, the eerie ways these things killed, and who was trying to use them to prey on people. With each return, it all became clearer. When other people encounter the eerie, they fight desperately to survive. When Gu Linchuan encounters it, he dies once first, then comes back to figure out exactly how it kills. The eerie are descending, the cities are spiraling out of control, and more and more people are scheming around these things, fighting over resources and coveted places. At last, Gu Linchuan understands that the greatest use of his life isn't to throw it away. It's to force a way out of the eerie rules that should be impossible to escape, one by one, and send the people who deserve to die straight into them.
