Within Daxia, gods are forbidden to walk.
Everyone knows that Cangnan City has a Lin Qiye, but no one knows that deep in the border mist, in the satellite city of Guixu, there is also an unrecorded psychiatric hospital: “Number 000.”
Ji Li, code-named “White Crow,” is the only “anomaly” in the Night’s Watch ranks.
He suffers from severe cognitive distortion. To him, the world is an absurd ruin. Yet by a twist of fate, he discovers the “Forgotten Corridor” beneath the Gods’ Hospital.
While ordinary Night’s Watch members still sacrifice themselves to protect the light, Ji Li has already taken up the [Judge’s Edict] to carry out secret reckonings:
“The karmic debts you’ve incurred won’t fit on the hospital’s basement level.”
He contains the shadows of Cthulhu and fishes for the divinity of the Eastern Underworld.
He is the Night’s Watch’s final shadow, and the deepest nightmare of those fallen proxies.
When the mist stops breathing and the supreme gods descend, Ji Li opens the door at the end of the corridor:
“All gods are in debt. I alone... judge the dead and send them to their next lives.”
It's good-looking, and the character of the protagonist is well written.
