From the Start, I Slept with the Demon Empress: My Ink Crushes Ten Thousand Demons

“Take this gold leaf and get out! If you dare breathe a word about last night, I’ll make you wish you were dead!”

Waking with a hangover, Chen Ye saw clothes strewn all over the floor and, before him, a breathtaking fox demon with nine tails flared out and murder in her eyes. He was completely dumbfounded.

He was only a poor human scholar who had to buy paper on credit. Last night, he had merely borrowed some courage from the wine to recite Li Bai’s “Qingping Diao” to this fox demon, then casually… spent the whole night petting her tails.

Who could have guessed that in this fantasy world, where the demon race ruled and humans were no better than ants, the ancient poems of Huaxia could stir the Great Dao of Heaven and Earth? They could even make a top-tier demon who had lived for three thousand years lose her composure on the spot, melting into a puddle!

Even worse, at the imperial examination three days later, held in the divine dynasty’s palace, the current Demon Empress sat behind a beaded curtain, looking down on the court full of great demons and ruling over all living beings. Why did the way she looked at him seem so much like the little fox he had held in his arms and petted last night?!

Three hundred years since the demon race broke through the frontier, humans had been reduced to subjects, and the highest office attainable through the imperial examinations was only a fourth-rank post?

Facing the endless provocations of the six-winged Golden Roc Grand Preceptor and the wanton jeers of the demons and monsters filling the court, Chen Ye swept his brush across the page and splashed ink right there in the hall!

With “The Wandering Knight,” his sword aura stretched thirty thousand miles, its cold light reaching across nineteen provinces. The great demons in the hall were so terrified they revealed their true forms and trembled!

With “Free and Easy Wandering,” he summoned celestial wonders across the nine heavens, transformed a roc into a kun, and subdued an unmatched demon lord!

With “Man Jiang Hong,” he summoned back the human race’s fortune accumulated over countless ages and restored peace to the land of Huaxia!

His brush stirred wind and rain; his poems made ghosts and gods weep!

Years later, the human race flourished, and Chen Ye stood atop the realm of ten thousand demons, dressed in a plain blue robe.
