Archimonde: The Ancient Tree Reborn

During the explosion at Mount Hyjal, Archimonde's soul transmigrates a thousand years into the future, carried by a branch broken from the World Tree, and possesses Elian Dawnwind, a High Elf who had died only recently. The branch gives rise to an independent soul: two souls in one body, bound to live and die together. Fel energy corrupts the body, while the World Tree purifies the fel. Using his power hastens death; refusing to use it means he cannot survive. He must hide his identity while caught between opposing forces, searching for a way to fuse fel and life within an endless cycle. Changing the past may cause spacetime to collapse, while accepting fate will inevitably lead to Nordrassil's destruction. Should he tear fate apart, or uphold the paradox?

“He was once synonymous with destruction. Now he must live for the sake of a tree.”
