The Crown Prince Is Sentenced to Death, and the Sky Screen Reveals the Greatest Emperor of All Time

Qin Yuan, the ninth prince of Great Qian, has kept a low profile in his fief for ten years, only to be framed for treason by the Crown Prince and the entire court.

The Emperor of Qian flies into a rage. To protect the royal family's reputation, he sends Qin Yuan a cup of poison in the dead of night!

In prison, Qin Yuan laughs aloud. "I can finally fake my death and slip away to inherit my overseas empire!"

He swallows the poison and lies down in his coffin, satisfied.

But the day after his "death," the sky screen descends across the myriad worlds, ranking the [Greatest Emperor of All Time].

The first line in the sky screen reads: [The Ninth Prince of Great Qian, the Dark God, Ruler of the Empire on Which the Sun Never Sets: Qin Yuan!]

Then the sky screen broadcasts Qin Yuan's dirty secrets to the entire world:

Great Qian's treasury is empty? Qin Yuan's private fortune is a hundred times larger!

The border armies keep losing? Qin Yuan has secretly raised three hundred thousand heavily armored dragon cavalry, armed with firearms far more advanced than anyone else's!

The northern barbarians are invincible? Their chanyu is getting whipped by Qin Yuan while turning screws on an assembly line!

As the prophecies come true, the northern barbarians breach the pass and the Crown Prince stages a coup.

The Emperor of Qian clutches Qin Yuan's cold body and wails, "I was wrong! I killed Great Qian's savior with my own hands!"

Just as Great Qian is about to fall...

Bang!

The lid of the golden-thread nanmu coffin is kicked flying.

Qin Yuan, revived at full power, spreads his hands in resignation. "Sky screen, are you targeting me? You've exposed all my trump cards!"

He draws his pistol and presses it against the Crown Prince's forehead. "There's no time to mourn. Starting today, I ascend the throne!"
