Lin Yan's soul transmigrates into that of a useless ancestor with barely any years left to live, trapped on the brink of his family's destruction. After awakening the Sword Immortal Family System, he has three years to withstand pressure from within and without and build a complete sword cultivation tradition from scratch. He selects and trains young sword cultivators from the family, wins people's hearts, roots out traitors, and slays invading enemies. Step by step, he annexes rival forces, fixes the flaws in the sword cultivation system, and overcomes sectarian oppression. Starting out as a third-rate minor clan, he rises to become the overlord of the mortal realm, then ascends to the immortal realm and sweeps across the heavens, ultimately creating the number one sword cultivator family across all worlds. He transforms from a useless ancestor into the supreme Sword Patriarch, and turns sword cultivation from a marginal branch into the orthodox path of all worlds.
Time is so chaotic. Three days pass and seven days pass. Three days pass and another three days pass. Seven days pass and another seven days pass.
