Bai Yin was a third-year college student who liked to laze around, until a dump truck sent him crashing into the world of Strange Tales from a Chinese Studio.
He woke up as a little white tiger, with a trap clamped around his hind leg.
An old woodcutter named Uncle Wang saved him, and the whole village worshipped him as a divine beast.
They fed him meat, petted his fur, and told him stories. The children called him “Grandpa Bai.”
A thousand years later, he had become the ruler of North Mountain, a great demon king at the Nascent Soul stage.
He didn’t go looking for trouble, but he wasn’t afraid of it either. He was ruthless to his enemies and made sure none survived.
The villagers, though? He let the children pet him, mooched meals, enjoyed a little wine, and occasionally helped chase off ghosts.
The Old Hag Tree Demon lived at the nearby Lanruo Temple. They had been neighbors for five hundred years, each keeping to their own side.
A passing scholar didn’t believe in ghosts or gods and insisted on asking for lodging.
Bai Yin lay atop the mountain and flicked his tail.
“Can’t do anything about it. But I can at least keep an eye on him, right?”
Later, he realized
he had meddled in that fool scholar’s business.
He had meddled in the female ghost’s business, too.
He even wanted to meddle in the old tree spirit next door’s affairs.
“I’m not the sort who likes sticking my nose into other people’s business.”
Bai Yin held a roasted sweet potato in his mouth, looking perfectly serious.
“I’m just bored.”
The Heavenly Dao slept, the Celestial Court had vanished, and the Underworld had fallen.
Within five hundred miles of North Mountain, people called the land a haven on earth.
Because a white tiger lived there, and he was always sticking his nose into other people’s business.
It's okay to write, I'm a local dog, I love reading. 😏
Can you become a ghost emperor by transforming into a divine weapon? Is the old demon from Montenegro so powerful? It feels like watching two villages fighting.
It's quite interesting. In summary, Old Demon Maru and Little Demon Maru are having fun together. I finished reading it in one sitting, but unfortunately it's not my cup of tea, so I won't add it to my collection.
The content is very good, I finished reading it in one go. The only drawback is that it is too short, so you can keep it for now [laughing]
It's so beautiful, it doesn't smell like AI [laughs evilly] Come and take a look
There are certain classic stories in it, and the writing style is peaceful, not focused on killing but focusing on development. At least I quite like it, just like a small boat sailing in a stream. Ink painting is self-contained, and the people are safe. Baihu and his Taoist friends will protect the peace of all directions. I hope he will have a peaceful and prosperous ending.
It's a bit interesting, I just borrowed the framework and wrote my own story
Very good-looking, the protagonist is psychic and the plot is healing. Highly recommended!
I'm a local dog and I love reading this book 😏 😏 😏
I quite like it, and I also quite like the character of the protagonist [Chigua] I hope the protagonist becomes stronger soon [Working on draft]
