Jia Rong traveled to Jia Rong, the palace of Ning State, and was warned by his father Jia Zhen not to get close to his wife Qin Keqing at the beginning. He knew the fate of his family's downfall, and in order to protect himself and break the situation, he determined to study for the imperial examination. He managed to enter Rongguofu School and study with Jia Baoyu's teacher. This "Uncle Rong" who awakened his memory decided to use knowledge to change his mortal destiny.
