Bottom: Yan Ning, the finest mechanic in the entire star region, born and raised in the undercity.
A C-rank Omega, with pheromones as faint as chamomile. Unremarkable and unassuming.
He looks slender and aloof, keeping strangers at arm’s length. His tongue is sharp enough to cut, but deep down he’s soft-hearted and sensitive.
His custom-engineering skills are unmatched across the stars. He keeps to his little repair shop and only wants to scrape by in peace in the undercity, owing no favors and letting no one get the upper hand.
Top: Agent Major Li Weijin goes undercover, posing as a big shot from Jingheng Interstellar, and sets his sights on him.
An A-rank Alpha, with pheromones rich as amber tea. He wields immense power, is outrageously strong, and has absolutely no shame.
While other people act aloof and chaste, he pursues relentlessly. While others keep their distance, he closes in step by step.
He knows Yan Ning is prickly and always ready with a retort, yet he still shows up every day to tease him, coax him, protect him, and spoil him.
Everyone else thinks Yan Ning is a vulnerable Omega who can be pushed around.
Only Li Weijin knows the truth:
He talks tough, but secretly has a soft heart.
He acts cold, but cares more than anyone.
He may seem easy to bully, but he has an unbending pride and a mechanical talent that defies the heavens.
A companion story to the Little B series. It takes place when Xiao Ji is sixteen, before he transmigrates. The young master Li Weiyu will appear later on.
I discovered this novel by accident, but I didn't expect it to be so good! The storyline is very strong, and it's not a sticky love story. Shou doesn't have a golden finger, but he relies on himself to gain a foothold at the bottom, never gives up when encountering difficulties, and has a tough character. Don't give up, author. Many people don't like to read serials. To be honest, I don't read much either. I came in at night, thinking it was almost over, but I didn't expect to be surprised. Come on!
It's very beautiful. Recommended reading. The writing and setting are very good.
