Lu Zhixing (gong) × Shen Shilü (shou)
Lu Zhixing is a naturally gifted demon hunter. His favorite pastime is dangling a lollipop from his mouth while bluffing ghosts, and his motto in life is: If I can lie down, I'll never stand up.
Shen Shilü is a chief forensic pathologist whose motto is that data can explain anything, including his own ghost-attracting constitution.
When the charlatan meets the scientist, Lu Zhixing calls himself a walking magnet for ghosts, while Shen Shilü calls him an ignorant street fraud.
Later...
A ghost possesses Shen Shilü, and Lu Zhixing saves him by passing his own blood into Shen Shilü's mouth with his tongue.
Shen Shilü's ears turn red. “...Exchanging bodily fluids is unhygienic.”
Lu Zhixing grins. “Then let's do it a few more times, and you'll get used to it.”
There are many things science can't explain, like why he fell in love with this charlatan.
