Don't Stop Me, I'm Going to Grow Tomatoes on the Roof

The day she was laid off, Lin Youran carried home the nearly dead pothos from her desk.

Then she picked up a glowing System. It said: Go farm.

Lin Youran: I'm a product manager, not a product farmer.

System: Keep one pothos alive and get a beginner's gift pack.

From then on, the rooftop became her new workstation, and tomatoes her new KPIs.

Her former colleagues chased promotions, her former boss chased funding, while she built an entire rooftop farm and, along the way, won over a handsome neighbor who could draw up blueprints.

My boss laid me off, so I lay into the tomatoes. It's still anyone's game.
