Reborn as Liu Xie: Starting with the Edict Hidden in a Belt

I wake up to find myself the Emperor Xian of Han, under house arrest by Cao Cao.

The Edict of the Silk Bag has just been sent out, and that idiot Dong Cheng is leading everyone to their deaths.

There are more informants in the palace than grains of rice in my bowl, and secret reports from the Minister of Works' residence reach Cao Cao's desk right on schedule every day.

I have to dismantle this cage, bit by bit, right under Cao Cao's nose.

Step one: turn Cao Cao's informants around, the unfortunate women he planted by my side.

Step two: while Cao Cao is away on his northern campaign against Yuan Shao, make Xuchang my city.

Step three: gather the finest talents under heaven and give them a far greater stage than they had in history.

Cao Cao thinks I'm lost in sensual pleasures, thinks all I care about is the harem's beds.

He thinks an emperor of nineteen, who can't even leave the palace gates, could never make waves.

He's wrong.

I came here from two thousand years in the future.

I know how the Battle of Guandu ends. I know the Edict of the Silk Bag will be exposed next January. I know every one of his strategists, every victory, every appointment.

I stay confined in my cage while the people outside cut him to pieces, one stroke at a time.

When he finishes defeating Yuan Shao and turns back, this cage won't be able to hold me anymore.

This is the story of me, the Son of Heaven of the Great Han, reclaiming the realm step by step right under Cao Cao's nose.
