Stars Fall on the Sparse Begonias

Wen Xingci was a year younger than Meng Shutong. They met in high school because of a misunderstanding, going from clashing at every turn to secretly falling for each other. In a corner unknown to anyone, a young girl’s feelings quietly blossomed, and little by little, they became the most special people in each other’s lives.

But just as their love was at its strongest, Wen Xingci vanished without warning, leaving Meng Shutong behind to wait alone.

She waited for eleven years. Then, at a reunion, she unexpectedly saw their former classmate Lin Yichen arrive with a female companion.

The moment that person looked up, Meng Shutong froze from head to toe.

It was Wen Xingci, the woman she had searched for over eleven years.

And the person beside her smiled and introduced her:

“This is my wife, Wen Xingci.”

Her former lover, after all these years and bound by marriage, had returned to her in the cruelest way possible.

Why had she left back then? Why had she married now?

Every word left unsaid had become a thorn in both their hearts.
