Siheyuan: The National Banquet Chef Snatches Yu Li from the Start

Lin Yu was a state banquet chef in his previous life. After an accident, he transmigrated to a Beijing courtyard house in the 1960s, becoming an ordinary tenant with no parents. No System? No pocket dimension? No matter! Lin Yu turned around and took over a struggling state-run restaurant beside the Red Star Steel Mill.

With his extraordinary modern cooking skills, he thrives in an era of scarcity. The animals of the courtyard want to take advantage of him after smelling his food? Not a chance!

See how Lin Yu uses a single wok to make the whole courtyard drool, snatches Yu Li away when she mistakenly walks into the wrong door for a blind date, and goes on to enjoy a blissful life with no inhibitions!
