Orange Soda in a Cassette Tape

In their senior year of high school, Shen Zhi transfers from a small southern town and quietly takes the seat beside Lu Ye, whose smile shines as brightly as the sunlight. She clutches an old cassette player.

One is reserved and sensitive, keeping a broken cassette left behind by her grandmother; the other is cheerful and gentle, holding on to the unfinished songs his uncle left behind.

An accidental struggle over a cassette and a misunderstanding born of crossed wires bring two teenagers who once had nothing in common gradually closer through their shared love of old tapes.

Secret glances from the back of the classroom, a tender duet at the school radio station, fragments of time they piece back together on a rainy night, and feelings neither dares to confess before the college entrance exams.

It turns out the best kind of romance is finding someone in the chaos of senior year who understands your niche interests, helps you cherish the past, and sets off toward the same future with you.

This is a romance that tastes like orange soda from an old cassette: sweet, pure, and forever full of passion.
