Li Ci'an
A civil engineering graduate and former DIY blogger.
She transmigrates into the Qin Dynasty as the daughter of a craftsman, only to find the Epang Palace's foundation collapsing from the start.
The overseer wants to execute people, and the craftsmen want to run.
Li Ci'an quietly pulls out a spirit level. "Give me three days."
Qin Shi Huang: "This woman is interesting. Put her in charge of building the Qin Straight Road."
Zhao Gao: "A woman building roads? What a joke."
In the end, I finish two years ahead of schedule, working five times as efficiently.
Later, His Majesty asks me, "Can you build a road all the way to Rome?"
I calculate my merit points. "Yes, but we'll have to wait until I invent a steam engine."
