In Dulan, Qinghai, a bottomless grave robbers' shaft is discovered at the Nine-Story Demon Tower, and 646 national treasures vanish overnight.
Archaeological specialist Chen Mo is urgently assigned to investigate. But as he follows the trail, he discovers that his father, missing for ten years, is at the heart of the case.
With curses, traps, and fugitives blocking his way at every turn, this is no ordinary tomb-raiding case, but a battle to protect a thousand-year-old secret history.
