Modern young man Lin Ye transmigrates by accident, arriving in 2006, at the starting point of Jujutsu Kaisen: the Hidden Inventory/Premature Death arc. On the brink of life and death, surrounded by cursed spirits, he awakens the heaven-defying innate technique Spatial Shift, which can redirect any injury, energy, trajectory, and even damage to causality.
Keeping his identity as a transmigrator secret, he enters Tokyo Jujutsu High as a transfer student and trains alongside young Satoru Gojo and Suguru Geto. From an inexperienced novice to a master of his technique, he rewrites a tragedy that was meant to happen.
From escorting the Star Plasma Vessel and battling Toji Fushiguro to witnessing Suguru Geto's faith crumble, experiencing the Shibuya Incident firsthand, and joining the Culling Game, Lin Ye uses his foresight as a transmigrator and Spatial Shift to shake the world of jujutsu. He must protect those around him while fighting fate and curses, and ultimately use his own strength to turn the Jujutsu Society's despairing ending around.
