"Ju'an Village" tells the story of Xia Feng, who possesses modern knowledge and a mysterious treasure chest in troubled times, leading the villagers to establish Ju'an Village in a deserted land, using farming as the basis and defense as a shield, and moving step by step from survival to prosperity.
When the Qing army invaded the south, life was devastated. Xia Feng relied on the treasure tray's ability to grow crops and improve tools. He first led the villagers to defend their homes, and then reclaimed wasteland and built water conservancy projects, allowing the formerly barren land to grow full of food. As refugees from neighboring villages came to seek refuge, the scale of Ju'an Village grew. Xia Feng formulated rules and divided functions, from agricultural planting to iron smelting and forging, from defense patrols to people's livelihood management, to manage the settlement in an orderly manner.
The Treasure Tray is continuously upgraded, from simple creation to precise empowerment, helping to cultivate high-yielding rice and wheat and forge sophisticated weapons; villagers each show their talents, old farmers pass on agricultural skills, skilled craftsmen make instruments, and warriors guard the village gate. The smart and tough Shen Yue'e, the experienced Lao Zhou and others work side by side with Xia Feng to jointly deal with crises such as flash floods and banditry.
When news of Nanjing's destruction came and the shadow of troubled times approached, Xia Feng strengthened the training of the village army and expanded iron smelting production capacity while exchanging supplies with the rebels. While protecting his homeland, he gradually became involved in the tide of the times. From the practical work of pioneering spring plowing, to the horror of the granary fire, from the mutual help in the classroom in the fields, to the excitement of newly discovered mineral veins, every step of Ju'an Village's growth embodies sweat and wisdom, and also hides the upcoming challenges.
