Farming After the Disaster: My Crops Have Mutated

[Heroine's growth + no romance + slow-paced + farming, foraging, and hunting + slice of life]

In the “Dust and Haze Era” after the disasters, Earth has been reshaped by two elements, “Ling” and “Sha.” Traditional agriculture has collapsed completely, leaving humanity to scrape by on synthetic food.

At the government's call to “reclaim the frontier,” Chen He'an and her family of six set out to establish a farm in the perilous No. 7 Buffer Zone.

On the wasteland, crops can kill. Rice mutated into Sha creatures can shoot out seeds, vines coil around ankles, and weeds release poisonous gas.

She isn't afraid.

The spring hidden in a crack behind the mountain, the wild rice whose stalks gleam faint gold, the little silver-white calf, and the family who lean on one another in desperate times: these are what give her strength.

What she wants to grow isn't food, but hope.
