Ten Years of Life, Like a Dream

[Angst / Eleven Years of Secret Love / Realizing It Too Late / The Male Lead Regrets Everything]

Li Ruomeng loved me for eleven years, giving me the best years of her life.

She got me through my senior year of high school, organized my notes for me, and sent me a good-night message every day during the five years I spent abroad.

But I always said, “She’s my best buddy.”

Later, I found her diary, its pages covered with my name. The first entry was from 2007, and the second-to-last page ended on March 14, 2018.

The last page was blank. She never got the chance to fill it in.
