Secrets of Hanling

Torrential rain seals off the mountains, and strange incidents erupt one after another in the village: ancient graves wail in the dead of night, livestock mysteriously drop dead, villagers disappear on the mountain, and rocks crack for no reason.

While gathering firewood on the mountain, Li Ergou stumbles upon a concealed entrance to an ancient burial cave. Its terrain is bizarre and its feng shui all wrong: this is no ordinary folk grave.

The terrified village elders call in Zhao Guangcai, an expert in feng shui and ancient burials.

The two set out together to investigate the outskirts of an ancient tomb in the desolate hills. They discover eerie bones, ancient stone restraints, and sealing runes. Deep in the wilderness lies an ancient secret tomb that no one has entered for a thousand years. One sinister oddity after another plagues the mountains: snakes and insects infest the area, mists and miasma fill the forest, and a bone-chilling cold permeates the air.

The two realize this is no simple matter. It involves the secrets of a thousand-year-old burial, not some ordinary grave in the mountains.
