In This Era of Feel-Good Games, Did Your Korean War Campaign Make the Whole Internet Cry?

[Epic battlefield + blockbuster game + streamer breakdown moments + tearjerking scenes + fervent patriotism]

The studio has gone bankrupt, the rent is overdue, and there’s no money for three meals a day. Gu Nianchuan is at the end of his rope.

Just as he falls into despair:

[Ironblood Spirit-Forge Game System successfully bound!]

[Obsession: Remember the fallen heroes. Never let those figures, frozen like ice sculptures, remain nameless forever!]

Pai Zong, a streamer with a million followers, is sobbing uncontrollably on camera, clutching his VR headset so tightly his voice turns hoarse and cracks.

“Guys, whatever you do, don’t trust this developer called Gu Nianchuan! He’s a fraud!”

“He never told me what kind of game it was. I thought it was just a regular snowy landscape experience, but the second I went in, I was frozen stiff by a blizzard forty degrees below zero!”

“He said the NPCs inside were just data, but that little soldier, only sixteen or seventeen, pinned me down with his body so enemy aircraft wouldn’t spot me. He froze into an ice sculpture himself!”

No one knows that Gu Nianchuan, the man the streamer calls a “fraud,” is crouched in his shabby studio, watching the faith points on his dashboard shoot upward, tears falling in silence.

He isn’t a fraud. He just wants an age obsessed with virtual wish fulfillment to see the truth.

On a snowy battlefield forty degrees below zero, there are no paid boosts to godhood and no easy victories. There is only a group of young soldiers, dressed in thin clothes and gnawing on frozen potatoes, laying down their lives to protect the homeland behind them.
