Synopsis

It was an ordinary day. The Foundation was running as usual, with agents out in the field and researchers conducting their studies.

Then that moment arrived, and every “anomaly” abruptly ceased to exist. No one knew why, and no one knew who was responsible.

The world returned to normal. There was no longer any need for the Veil. But what about the anomalies? What happened to all the contained objects? Where did they go? Are they coming back for dinner?

A mysterious number from Antarctica: March 8, 1998, 5:07:04 a.m.

The Most Popular SCP Foundation Books on This Site Back in the Day

I read this several years ago, but can't find it now. All I remember is that the protagonist was a D-class personnel who escaped from SCP-682's mouth from the start. The female lead was SCP-166 and seemed able to disable the abilities of contained anomalies? The book featured Dr. Apes, Cain, God, and 682 barbecue, among other things.

Looking for Novels About Classic, Hard-Core Anomaly Containment, Like SCP

Ideally, an ensemble cast that fits the worldbuilding while staying within reasonable bounds. I'd especially like more hard-core, clinically written anomaly documents, with well-researched, rigorous content. Nothing awkwardly overhyped or mindless.
