Apprentice Mage: Is It Really So Strange to Snag a Red Dragon?

[Western Fantasy + Beast Taming + Magic + Dragons + Adventure + Slice of Life]

This story is told mainly from a dragon’s perspective, and it starts a little slowly!

On a continent brimming with arcane energy, humans and spirit beasts help one another thrive through the “Bonded Pact.”

This should have been a classic tale of a genius mage contracting a powerful spirit beast and climbing to the top of the world.

But Yining, a pureblood red dragon hatchling, discovers that she has no ancestral memories at all!

Watching the apprentice mage beside her stubbornly grapple with rune arrays, only to produce clouds of black smoke whenever he tries practical spellcasting, the little red dragon angrily breathes a stream of dragonfire.

“Forget it. I’ll do it!”

This is a heartwarming story of an arrogant red dragon and an apprentice mage saving each other and adventuring all over the world.
