Blue Archive: Daily Life Begins with Arius

Fang Cheng is twenty-three, 180 centimeters tall, and an utterly ordinary gaming nerd.

A screen labeled “Incubus Shota System” suddenly appears over his monitor while he’s halfway through a game. Excited, he clicks “Confirm”

The next second, his 180-centimeter frame shrinks to 149 centimeters. His deep voice turns into a soft, sweet boyish one, and even he’s stunned by how cute he looks in the mirror.

“Isn’t a shota-raising System supposed to make you a shota?” the System says, as if that settles it.

Before he can object, a flash of white light sends him, along with the System, to a school city called Kivotos. More precisely, he’s dumped in the ruins of the Arius District, ravaged by war.

Here, students with halos over their heads carry firearms everywhere. Special squads are caught up in hatred and conspiracies, while tensions simmer between the various academies.

All Fang Cheng has is a pitch-black sniper rifle no student has ever used, an incubus aura that makes everyone within range spontaneously feel things like “so cute,” “I want to hug him,” and “I want to protect him,” and a System that dangles charm points in front of him while doling out missions from time to time.

“Reach 30 charm points to unlock body-shape adjustments!”

“...I’m at 15 right now. Are you serious?”

And so, an incubus shota’s daily life begins, a little crookedly, in the Arius ruins.

He’ll meet a girl in the ruins with a huge backpack and tired eyes, but a soft heart. She’ll wrap him up snugly in an old scarf, and one “Big Sis” from him will make her ears turn bright red.

He’ll get caught up in the shadow war between academies,
