In the Name of the People: Director Qi Flips the Table

The moment the protagonist opens his eyes, he finds himself inhabiting Qi Tongwei from In the Name of the People, just as he’s about to fall into a deadly trap. The site where Chen Hai was attacked lies right before him. This time, he won’t just clean up the mess. He seals off the roads, keeps a witness alive, detains the driver, and seizes the communications equipment, turning an assassination that could have been dismissed as a traffic accident into a major case commanding attention across the province. When the Zhao family tries to destroy the evidence, he turns the tables and grabs hold of their leverage. When Handong’s top officials sit on the fence, he brings the results straight to the table. From the start, he changes Chen Hai’s fate, then uses the case to seize control of the narrative and take charge of the special investigation, transforming himself from a discarded pawn into a dangerous wildcard no one dares to touch lightly.
