A World of Impostors? I'm the Control Group

[An unconventional power fantasy + impostors + rule-based comedy + lighthearted humor + one female lead + a touch of forum-style storytelling]

One day, Zheng Changren opens his eyes and finds himself in a world where everyone is an impostor.

On the street, a man faces a pane of glass and painstakingly combs his hair into a perfectly precise side part. When he counts and finds that one side has the wrong number of hairs, he plucks out a few strands.

A little girl ties a balloon to her head and skips along.

Watching this utterly commonplace scene, Zheng Changren feels not the slightest stir.

The logic governing this world of impostors comes down to one thing: how to act human. A class system has formed around that principle.

But Zheng Changren is a real human being, so on the first day of the new school year, he earns the right to give the opening speech by coming in first.

If this strange world keeps running the way it does, Zheng Changren can get anything he wants.

But... after finally finding a group that follows the rules to the letter, how could he not have some fun with them?

(There is no connection between anything in this book and the real world.)
