At the foot of Lingshan Mountain, there is a stone.
The stone is not big and inconspicuous, and is mostly covered by weeds. Bhikkhunis and arhats came and went passing by it, and no one ever looked down at it.
Only the old monk guarding the mountain remembered that one rainy night five hundred years ago, the stone cracked.
No monkey jumped out of the crack.
Only one sentence came out.
Those words were very light, as light as the wind, but they were drowned out by the thunder. The old monk thought he had heard wrongly and did not report it.
Five hundred years later, when two identical monkeys hit Lingshan Mountain, the old monk suddenly remembered those words.
He was shaking, and it wasn't because he was afraid.
It's because that sentence came true to the letter.
——"Fake, but also have the intention to become a Buddha."
