A Summer Kiss on the Warm Breeze

[Sunny Little Heroine of Justice VS Arrogant Peach Blossom King]

[Secret crush + mistaken substitute + tragic ending + breakup + reunion after years apart]

Cheng Yan was a famous heartthrob on the school’s list of most handsome boys.

Chen Yan wasn’t even mentioned on the list of prettiest girls.

Their names were similar, but their fates were worlds apart. By a twist of fate, their lives became entwined for thirteen years.

When they first met, she accidentally overheard someone confessing to him hysterically. After that, he inexplicably started picking on her.

Back then, she hated that guy for docking her points at every turn.

Later, when she was beaten up because of his one true love, he domineeringly forced the culprit to apologize and declared that he wanted to be friends with her. She helped him win his love and became his romance adviser.

At thirteen, Cheng Yan left without a word, not even saying goodbye, abandoning her all alone in that summer.

At fifteen, they met again. Cheng Yan was still the dazzling boy he had always been, while Chen Yan still only dared to secretly love him.

After two years apart, Cheng Yan had earned an even greater reputation as a playboy, yet at the most unlikely moment, he confessed to an utterly ordinary girl like her.

“Chen Yan, I like you. Will you give me a chance?”

“I’m sorry, Cheng Yan. I don’t dare gamble with your heart.”

Even though I really do like you.

At sixteen, Chen Yan loved with a clear head. From beginning to end, all she wanted was Cheng Yan’s wholehearted love.

To love one person, and only that person, for all time.

A secret crush hidden from the light. Though the years passed, her feelings faded into a distant haze. For him and for her, all that remained was to gaze at each other from afar, like strangers.

Later, that scorching wind finally blew away. It gently kissed that summer, leaving behind an indelible mark, then vanished forever.

Cheng Yan, I hope you find happiness, win the love you long for, and have a smooth and peaceful life.
