[Lord-building + convoy management + roads for all + sequence awakening + team development + bizarre cataclysm + hard-edged ensemble cast + underdog rise + mobile base + Black Tide pursuit]
After the cataclysm, Earth is split into countless desolate roads.
All survivors are forced to bind themselves to vehicles and set out on a migration for survival.
Every seven days, the Black Tide comes chasing from behind.
Stop, and it will swallow you.
Fall behind, and you will disappear.
Those without vehicles hear their deceased loved ones knocking on their windows at night.
Sequence-based classes awaken around the world.
Some awaken as Gunners, able to hold back a horde of ghosts alone;
some awaken as Beast Tamers, commanding giant wild beasts;
some awaken as Blood Warriors, tearing apart corrupted entities with their bare hands.
But Lu Chen awakens the hidden sequence everyone mocks most: “Convoy Lord.”
His own combat ability is unremarkable, but he can grant “Convoy Bonds” to anyone who joins his convoy.
The lead vehicle clears the way and gains a bonus to breaking through obstacles.
The rear vehicle guards the tail and gains a defense bonus.
Medical vehicles, scout vehicles, artillery vehicles, supply vehicles, and engineering vehicles each form their own specialized modules.
As long as the convoy holds formation, every member’s attributes are doubled.
At first, everyone thinks Lu Chen is dead weight.
That is, until a Black Tide chase battle, when he leads thirteen battered vehicles to turn the tables on an A-rank haunted convoy on a highway full of corpses.
Later, one saying spreads through every region along the desolate roads:
You’d be better off offending ten sequence experts than blocking Lu Chen’s convoy.
Because once his convoy is fully assembled, it becomes a mobile fortress of war.
