Lin Jiuge is a 22-year-old senior in college. His main job is delivering food; his side gig is failing classes. One rainy night, a car that shouldn't exist hits him and sends him to the ICU. When he wakes up, he is told that in his previous life he was a judge of the underworld. Now the underworld has collapsed, and ghosts and monsters have escaped into the human world. He has to work for the underworld and capture them all.
Refuse? Then don't expect to come back to life.
With no choice, Lin Jiuge grits his teeth and gets to work.
He thought ghost-catching would be all fighting and killing. Instead, he discovers that the human heart is more frightening than any ghost.
