Top-Secret Commando: Night Owl Strikes

Urban War God + Military + Special Forces

A blood-red notice tore Chen Feng's life apart. When his gravely ill father coughed up blood and pressed a photo of himself in uniform into his hands, the boy from the mountains had no idea what kind of road to hell lay ahead.

From a recruit dumped into the "trash platoon" to the cutting edge who shattered army records; from surviving the guns of a border drug lord to standing at the selection grounds of the "Night Owl" unit, a top-secret special operations team that existed in no official records. Chen Feng proved with every scar that some people are born for the battlefield.

And then there was Ling Xue, codename "Frost Owl," the youngest commander in Night Owl's history and a female war goddess feared throughout the military. She dragged Chen Feng through the hellish selection process with her own hands, then took a bullet meant for him during an overseas mission. When this man who never bowed his head first grew misty-eyed in front of her, she realized that the strongest armor was often another person's weakness.

From the rainforests of the southwest to the battlefields of the Middle East, from border drug raids to international counterterrorism, they led the Night Owl team through the shadows to protect the light. When Chen Feng discovered that his father's death was connected to the military's top brass, and Ling Xue's secret mission touched on state secrets, the two blades had to choose: obey orders, or tear open the truth?

This is the legend of a unit that does not exist, the redemption of two imperfect souls, and the most passionate interpretation of faith: some wars will never see the light of day, but there will always be someone willing to burn their life away for them.
