The Ninth Lock

As a follow-up reader, I must say that the opening chapter of "The Ninth Lock" really grabbed me! The protagonist Jiang Chen's "light hidden in the dust" temperament is so unique - he is obviously a lonely young man who was stepped into the mud, but there is always an inexhaustible fire in his eyes. The author's descriptions of urban life are astonishingly delicate, as if you can smell the moisture in the dilapidated houses, the soot from the blacksmith shop, and taste the saltiness of half a cornstarch mixed with tears. The most amazing thing is the setting of "Golden Thread Vision", which is not a simple plug-in, but a perfect closed-loop growth system with the Prisoner's Sword Bone and Nine-fold Chain. Every description of the chain breaking makes people's blood rush, especially when Jiang Chen is forced to use the tip of the sword for the first time, the suffocation and shock of the desperate counterattack are simply amazing! The interaction between the male and female protagonists is also very interesting. One cannot express himself, and the other dare not rely on him. The cautious temptation and life-and-death trust on the way to escape are more tense than the straightforward sweetness. What I am most looking forward to now is the copy of Baiyun City. I hope Jiang Chen can recover from his injuries quickly, make money, become stronger, and get slapped in the face three times in a row! Can't wait to see the moment when Jian Gu fully awakens!
