Seven Days to Become a Fiend

[Supernatural] [Mystery] [Horror]

If someone cursed with a luck-stealing spell dies a violent death, they turn into a sha, a being formed from resentment that is neither human nor ghost.

On the rainy afternoon when Chen Jing was ousted from the company by his partner, Zhao Hongbin, and Zhao's wife, Lin Wanqing, he knelt on the steps and watched the two of them walk away hand in hand behind the glass doors. Then a dump truck ran him over.

He thought he was dead.

When he opened his eyes again, he was back seven days earlier, on September 12, one week before the company went bankrupt. This time, he would crush those two with his own hands.

But the world was wrong. His wife's smile was a copy, his brother's remorse was programmed, and the entire city was a stage made of paper, with every passerby walking in perfect unison. When an old Taoist appeared before him and said, “You're already dead,” Chen Jing finally realized:

The world of the living was being consumed by his resentment.

While Chen Jing was still alive, Zhao Hongbin had paid 600,000 yuan for a sorcerer in Nanyang to place a luck-stealing curse on him and steal all his fortune.

The curse remained unbroken, and he died a violent death.

He became a sha.

This time, he would be neither human nor ghost. He would be those two people's comeuppance.
