Setting Sun was playing Mental Omega. After clearing a difficult mission, a strange lightning struck him and the computer into the real world of Red Alert.
He woke up lying in the snow in Eastern Ukraine in 1972. He fled desperately, but encountered a terrifying robot in the dark.
In order to survive, Setting Sun is determined to head east into Russia. In the snowy night, he received guidance and some supplies from two mysterious old men. When he had a splitting headache, he found a mysterious white light bursting out of his palm, repelling some dark force that tried to invade his consciousness.
After dawn, he caught a truck along the road and traveled to Stalingrad. However, with no identity, no relatives, and no place to go, he cannot even exchange for a morsel of bread in this world. A recruitment flyer became the only way out, and the Soviet army took in anyone willing to take up a gun.
During the recruit training, Canyang stood out with his knowledge of the 21st century and was selected into the engineer training sequence. Half a year later, he became a real engineer, but unexpectedly discovered that his computer "cursor" merged with him.
While he was secretly using abandoned power plants to accumulate strength, relations between the United States and the Soviet Union deteriorated rapidly, and war was about to break out. . . . . .
