[Forced love + both untouched + powerful wealthy man + unhinged doctor + resilient, delicate heroine]
Medical student Lin Ruoyan is often bullied.
During one such incident, the mental and physical torment leaves her unconscious. Jiang Sinian, who happens to have been invited to give a lecture at the medical school, rescues her.
He saves her from hell, only to build a cage for her with his own hands.
Lin Ruoyan's face turns deathly pale.
She should have known.
Jiang Sinian bends down and whispers in her ear. His voice is soft, yet so oppressive it is enough to suffocate her:
“Don't be afraid. I won't hurt you.”
“But from today on, I'll be in charge of your heartbeat, your routine, and your emotions.”
“I've listened to your heartbeat countless times.
It belongs to me, and so do you.”
“Everyone says you're a refined gentleman, but only I know...”
“You're a complete and utter wolf in gentleman's clothing.”
When Lin Ruoyan falls into the hands of her enemy, a nearly insane fury roils in his eyes.
He doesn't care one bit about his reputation or his career.
“If you dare lay a hand on her, I'll make sure you never rise again!”
