Sheng Huan first meets Qian Yu at his nephew’s birthday party. Qian Yu is there as a classmate of his nephew, Sheng Ning. When a piece of fruit peel from who knows where causes Sheng Huan to lose his balance, he rips Qian Yu’s clothes. Awkwardly, he shoves a signed check into Qian Yu’s hand, even though Sheng Huan is sure the man doesn’t need it.
The third time they meet is when Sheng Ning invites them both on a hike. Sheng Huan rips Qian Yu’s clothes again.
